For this project, I began with my repurposing project. I reworked the same argument into a new genre. I took the Time style article and turn it into a series of cartoons. The series begins with a set featuring elementary age girls who are being sent home because of their dress. The next set features middle school boys and girls sitting in the principal's office for very different reasons. The final set shows adult men and women in employment settings to show the continuation of mistreatment. My goal was to show that girls learn how they will be sexualized for the rest of their lives in elementary school and boys learn how to sexualize girls for the rest of their lives in elementary school.
